Construction

Steel hull in past years had a grant funded (by previous owners )plating renewal in excess of £100,000 by a local shipyard.

A new wheelhouse added recently with all electronics and retaining original features

Being commissioned by the MOD the carbon content of the steel is very high it grinds up like chrome.

The original binnacle compass has been retained.

A fully overhauled Reid’s of Paisley windlass is included in the sale to be fitted. This is in excess of £30k to buy new .
