The only Corby 26 (ex Virgin Triangle) in the Baltic is for sale! With numerous updates above and below the waterline, it is maybe the fastest Corby 26! It is a ready to win package. ORCi/IRC weapon!
No maintenance backlog. Professional maintained.
Have you ideas about purchasing the perfect IRC racer with occasional day cruising possibilities? Are you looking at a yacht with an overall length of 26 ft to suit a crew of five or six? A focus point for your consideration then has to be the Corby 26 which offers so much more potential than a sports boat. Upwind, the boat sails about as fast as a X-332, but slightly higher thanks to the keel update.
The Corby 26 is a fast sailing racing boat built and designed to sail with great upwind and downwind performance. This Corby 26 has a T- keel, bulb, and spade rudder. Due to her relative high weight (2.4 tons), the Corby 26 is very stiff, holding all sails up to 20–knots true wind, she can achieve an apparent upwind angle of about 17 degrees and therefore has the ability to sail higher than most of her competitors. This fractional sloop is also fitted with small saildrive inboard diesel engines.
The Corby 26 is of particular interest to time-starved owners, as she’s easy to lift out with a single lifting point, conveniently trailerable, and once you’ve previously had the rig set up in optimum tune, it takes only a couple of hours to rig and tune her again when you have taken her by road to some new regatta anywhere in the country or abroad. Yet she is also IRC offshore compliant.
The boat was ashore in 2019 and 2020. It has always been stored in a shed with a dehumidifier inside.
